Presentation of the library

Established in 1984, in October 2003 the library moved to its new premises of the Renaissance Villa Giamari; currently, including the expansion in the greenhouse of the Villa, the library occupies a total area of about 1000 sq m.

Among the services offered are some of particular interest like the Children’s Area “Libro Parlante” (Talking book) with the section childhood (parent-child) completely dedicated to children aged 0 to 6 and their parents; the Multimedia Rooms where you can surf the web (from 2009 is active the wireless connection), use the computer stations, refer to CDs and DVDs, interactive learning and listening to music (vinyl discs and CD); the garden inside the library, which can be taken freely by users.

Moving to the Villa Giamari, the Library is experienced by citizens not only as a place to read or study, but also as a cultural centre, where you can request information for all cultural activities in the area (reading promotion, shows and cultural events, exhibitions, organization of courses of continuing education for adults, foreign language courses and Italian language courses for foreigner).
